..Sehwag went for the MoM award....took the cheque...talked to Ravi....walked back to podium...there was a trophy lying around....picked it up and walked back !!! As simple as bashing Sami around, no confusions needed :-)
And by the way, there were 7 people in the presentation team, standing back, watching Sehwag pick up the trophy himself ! Its always funny to watch these ceremonies in India, something has to happen !

Manish, Virender sounds like the definitive professional. He goes out, scores runs, smiles occasionally and then goes to an awards night to pick up his award. It's no wonder I hold him in such high regard.
I don't see the point of awards shows being anything other than a place to pick up an award - or watch someone pick up an award.

Yes Bricktop351, its nice to watch that guy on a cricket field these days, even when he's not batting. And I am happy to be proven wrong (like countless others) about the longivity of his good run. It has taught many of us a whole new set of rules for judging good batsmen. As also a new set of standards for coaching books :-)
